Square steel posts with black and yellow high-vis bands. One lowers into the ground, one folds down.
Which parking post do you need?
Fold-down post, £279
The simplest and lowest-priced option. It bolts to the surface, folds flat when unlocked so you can drive over it, and lifts and locks when you leave. Yellow or silver.
Heavy-duty fold-down post, £299
A wider, more robust fold-down post in yellow, for spaces that get a lot of unwanted parking.
High-vis fold-down post, £359
A heavy-duty 70mm square post, 730mm tall, that folds down on a hinged base when unlocked. Bolted down or set in concrete to suit your surface. Good for car parks, bays and shared drives. Maximum-security padlock upgrade for £39.
High-vis telescopic parking post, £499
A 70mm square steel post that lowers fully into the ground and sits flush. Much stronger than a fold-down post, with a high-security lock upgrade for £39.
Will a parking post stop my car being stolen?
Parking posts are made to stop other people parking in your space. They're a strong visual deterrent, but a fold-down post isn't designed to stop a determined thief driving off.
If car theft is the worry, choose a telescopic bollard set in concrete, or a heavy-duty bollard for vans and high-value cars. Many people use both: a telescopic post in front of the car and a fold-down post on the second space. Our guide on telescopic vs fold-down bollards explains the difference.
How fitting works
A bolt-down post usually takes under an hour. A telescopic parking post is cored and set in concrete, like a bollard.
Check and scan
We check utility records and scan the spot before we drill or dig.
Drill or core
Fold-down posts are bolted to a solid surface, or set in concrete where the surface needs it. A telescopic parking post needs a 740mm hole for its sleeve.
Fix or set
Bolts go into solid concrete or tarmac. On gravel, we lay a small concrete pad first. Telescopic sleeves are set level in concrete.
Test and hand over
We test the lock and the fold, lift or lower action, tidy up and take the waste away.
How much do anti-parking posts cost?
Every price is supplied and fitted, per post, including the scan, fixings, making good and taking the waste away.
Each extra post on the same job is £50 less. We're not VAT registered, so the price you see is the price you pay. There's no survey fee or call-out charge for homes.

Questions about anti-parking posts
How much does an anti-parking post cost?
From £279 fitted for a fold-down post, £299 for the heavy-duty fold-down, £359 for the high-vis fold-down post and £499 for the high-vis telescopic post. Each extra post on the same job is £50 less.
What's the difference between a fold-down and a telescopic parking post?
A fold-down post bolts to the surface and folds flat to drive over. A telescopic post is set in the ground and lowers fully into it, so it sits flush and is much stronger.
Can you fit posts in a car park or shared bay?
Yes. We fit car park posts and parking bay protection for commercial sites as well as homes. Call us to arrange a survey.
Will a parking post stop a car thief?
It's a deterrent, but a surface-mounted post isn't designed to stop a determined thief. For theft protection, choose a telescopic bollard set in concrete.
Can you fit a post on gravel?
Yes. On gravel we lay a small concrete pad for a fold-down post, or set the high-vis fold-down post straight into concrete. We'll usually want a quick look at a gravel drive before we fix the price, at no charge.
How long does fitting take?
A fold-down post usually takes under an hour. A telescopic parking post takes longer because it's cored and set in concrete.
Can I upgrade the lock?
On both high-vis posts, yes. The high-security lock upgrade is £39 per post.
Where we fit
We fit across North Hampshire and Berkshire, from Basingstoke to Reading, Farnborough, Newbury, Andover and Winchester.
